Some days we just don’t feel like the Little Engine that Could and that is okay. . Remember when you were a kid and you read the story of the Little Engine that Could? Remember how you would chant “I think I can, I think I can”? Have you allowed yourself to stop believing in your own abilities? Yes, we all have unwanted things jumping on our train at times, such as debt, bad relationships, dissatisfaction with our job, a not-so happy home… and maybe you no longer chant “I think I can, I think I can.” Maybe it’s more like “I don’t want to try” and “I don’t really care anymore.” Today I want you to face that issue head on and say “I think I can, I think I can” as many times as you need to until it turns into “I KNOW I can, I KNOW I can”. Before you know it your train will be filled with things pushing you from THINKING to KNOWING. Positive Relationships, More Money, Happy Home, Happy Job, Happy Life… The change starts with you! What are you telling yourself? How has that been working for you? If it hasn’t been working out so well, try this. Don’t feel like you have to do it alone. Stop the negative self-talk that is trying to convince you that this will pass and you don’t need any help. I would love to hear from you! Please share in the comments a time when your train ran out of steam and how you managed to keep going.
